Journal Entry Two

Activity 1.1

Identifying your Audience:

Current students; families; staff; future students; families; child. Families entrusting the child care center with their children, and in return neighbors; vendors are all considered your audience. These are people who currently patronize your business. This is the audience that needs the most information about your center. Happy children and content families are your best advertisement. Child Care Facilities dont want a child leaving there center with stories about a terrable day.

Additional Conversation:

Important information for upcomming events should be clearly communicated to all staff members in advance. Logistical problems should have been anticipated and dealt wiyh proactively.

Activity 1.3

Define who you are:

How do you visualize your business?

A Child Care Center that makes the transition from care given by the family to the care given by the center as easy as possible. To have properly trained staff in reconizing and counseling an unhappy child. Families entrusting the child care center with their children, and in return they will be assured that their children are happy, and thriving. Having employees who are informed, who feel that they are able to make a contribution, and who are trusted to interact with children and their families. I would like to consider my Child Care Center affortable. If the rates are higher the advantages would be the number of staff to children would not just be the required number of staff and educational materials for the children to have fun with while learning.

Academically oriented:

Yes, academically oriented would be something the families would recognize by information provided by teachers. Also how the progress of each child should be recognized by families as their child grows and develops with each stage.

Policies, Programs, and Curriculm identify your program:

Having highly trained, dedicated staff who strives to make this program of the highest quality. Teaching staff having all been trained extensively in child development, and completly invested in ensuring children recieve the best early educational experience available.

Educational Curriculum:

To believe that curriculum models should be designed as framework that guides teachers involvement. Ensuring using creative curriculum, teachers are better able to meet children's social, and language development needs.

Strengths of the center:

Educational services; nutrition services ;transition training; educational curriculum; intrest centers in the classroom; ongoing education for staff.

Improvements; parent education and participation; parent communication; poorly informed staff; providing inconsistent messages.
